How do you feel about the new rule.
I'm fine with it if they learn how to use it before they get to the course, and they realize all the courses will not be set up with the reflectors.

How do you feel about the new rule.

I've written a few articles on at

http://thesandtrap.com/ (i.e. the main site about this). Lots of range finders are GPS or laser-based, and of the laser-based ones not all of them need reflectors. I use the Bushnell... it just picks up the flag (or flagpole, or something). I'm fine with this rule. I'd also be fine with the rule that no distance measuring was allowed, including yardage books, sprinkler heads, etc. All this rule does is let folks like you and me have accurate yardages like the pros. So, so long as the rule and practice is the same for everyone, I'm fine with it. Also so long as the rule doesn't allow more things, like measuring slope, firmness of greens, help you read putts, etc.

I'm all for it. Since I use the skycaddie SG2 it has saved me lots of time and alot more accurate then me estimating. On a day when there is not many people on the course and i can play at a faster pace, then it saves between 15-30 minutes off my round,

iacas, I asked the question how I did trying to see how many would know the new rule and how many would be in favor of it.
I also use the BUSHNELL PRO 400.
