Rain Pants in the cold.

Do you wear them over pants, or with long underwear, or what? I got a pair of ZR as I plan to golf more this winter...but am not sure how they're expected to be worn.

I wear long johns under my rain pants, I also use rubberbands around my ankles to help keep the pants from dragging and wearing on the edges since my pants are a little longer.

I will also bring a pair of pants incase when I get to the golf course I change my mind and decide to change into pants.

I personally like polar fleece tights under my rain pants.

Depending on the temperature, I'll go with different options. If it is quite cold I have a pair of running pants that fit snug and are made out of a dri-fit material that help keep warm.

Anytime I have to play in the cold I will wear wear my rain paints over whatever else I have on. Long johns, regular pants, then the rain pants. I have found they are the best option for me to add another layer without sacrificing the flexibility. Most rain pants are designed a little big so it is easy to get them on, and if I get too warm it is easy to take them off.
