909 hybrid... is it good?

also, how are the stock shafts?

They are pretty good i think ill be getting one soon when i have the money. They felt solid and no massive offset. As for the shaft i think its great.

some of the hybrids that i have hit feel like woods more than irons.

It felt a good bit like an iron and had a sweet feel when it was solidly hit.

i am now down to 2 choices: the adams idea pro and the 909.
just one more question:
would it feel like a blade (players iron) or more of a GI cluib?

It felt like a good match to my set, which are blades but this is after hitting the hybrid that I have now, the burner . It is a hook machine. But as for a player or GI id have to say players. Hope this helps. Let us know what you choose.

all i have to do is actually hit thim, but i want to keep the lofts consistent meaning that i want a 21* instead of a 20* in my bag. I think i am gonna go with the 909h (and it is $40 cheaper) which makes it even better

yeah, its called the mp fli-hi. Its a very nice long iron repacement, because it looks like an iron. You can get graphite or steel shafts in them, and they come in 18,21,and 24 degree lofts.

yeah there great they work well in all sets not just mizuno iron sets.

I haven't thoroughly tested and compared, but I though the 909 felt better. Maybe because of the shafts Aldila NV (Mizuno) vs. Diamana (909H)

i got a 21 909 hybrid. It is amazing. can work the ball and it feels great.

i heard that it has a muted feel, like the 585, can anyone confirm/compare the two? For some reason my golf store hasn't gotten the 909h in yet...we have all the fw and drivers, except the 909h and the dcomp...weird

The feel is somewhat muted on the 585, it's about the same as a 906f2 wood, you don't feel butter when you hit them, but I can easily tell difference between a perfect shot and a close to perfect one.

I agree. With my irons I know if I hit a little off, but with my hybrid and 3 wood it is not AS distinguishable in the feel or sound. They are easy to work though.

From what I have heard the 585.H was a big improvement over the model they replaced (503.H?). Maybe the 909's will follow suit and allow more feedback.
