Hibore XL trajectory too high

Hi,
This club has served me well the past 2 yrs but I find it's only fault is it flies the ball too high. I have 10.5 with the standard stiff gold shaft. Is there anything I can change to lower the flight.? I get about 240 carry, 20 yrds of roll, with a head speed of 105 which I do not think is a good result as there is defo a few more yards in the club. I have been considering going to the R5 XL Draw Taylormade, any opinions?

the standard red shaft will bring the flight down because of the higher kick point.

change the shaft to get a lower flight thats all you probably are launching to high cause of the shaft and or your spin rate is to high also due to the shaft. So all you have to do is change shaft.

Depends on how much spin you generate. Get your statistics analyzed including ball spin with the driver.

Britboy hit it. Had the same problem with my hibore xl 10.5, took it in for a cleveland demo day and they diagnosed it on the launch monitor as needing a higher kickpoint, ala the red.

gold vs red, yes the red keeps it lower... or you can get it reshafted to a shaft that fits you.

Before I put a new shaft in I would get a quick fitting, see what the LM says, also get the loft checked. I've personally gotten much better results changing loft than changing shafts.

yep.... The stiff red may also work for you, but I found i didn't hit it too well, I went with a grafalloy Epic, and I love the feel of it. You can't go wrong with a VS Proto either, but shaft feel is an individual thing.... (I also have a BiMatrix stiff that I like in one as well) ymmv...
