I'm recieving "upload failed due to failure writing temporary file" message. I haven't had this problem before. What am I doing different?

I just tried the upload avatar function it worked fine.

Are you sure your image is under the maximum pixel height/width and also under the 36KB size limit?

Are you uploading from your local computer or from a URL btw? I tried the local computer.

If you want to make sure it's not the image you are using, you can right click on my avatar image, save it to your computer and then try uploading it.

I could have sworn I answered this question earlier today.

From my research it seems you may get this message if you attempt an upload with an invalid extension. Try a .jpg or a .gif file.

I'm trying to upload a picture from yahoo! images and I'm getting the same message while paying attn to the pixels and KB limitations.

If you save it to your computer first then upload it, that works, I just did it that way.

In the bag:

      Can you elaborate on this?  There's a par-4 hole at the course I've played the most (was my home course for over a decade, now 50 miles away but I still go and play there) whose green is below the fairway and I realized recently it's one of three holes on the course I've never made birdie, despite that I often have a short iron into the green for my second shot.  It isn't even that I haven't made birdie, but I realize I often don't hit the green.  My typical play of the hole is to have a near-GIR and sometimes I get up and down, but not as often as I would if I were trying to 2-putt.
