The # 21 as a handicap doesn't accurately reflect how well someone hits the irons. They could have a driver problem, a chipping problem, putting problem, poor course management, etc.

I played R7 irons for about 2 years and recently switched to MP-57 irons. Sure, they're harder to hit, but hit right, they're more accurate - and the feedback is helping me hit them better. Even if you have to grow into the clubs a little more than you hoped, they're still a good set and you'll more than likely end up OK.

Hey there, first time posting a thread so go easy on me :)

I've been playing with MP-57s since October and think they are fantastic. I was playing with graphite Callaway Fusions before that and wanted something a little sleeker. The 57s are definitely responsive, and easy to hit. I shied away from them for a while on the theory that I shouldn't hit a player's club until I dropped to single digits, but they certainly haven't hurt my scores -- if anything, I'm a better ballstriker since I got them.
