My Final Decision!!!

I have a 19* 5 wood that is a little deep on 217 yard par 3 and can be hit off ground but deep face causes problems, i would say 1 out of every 5 is perfect. I want to replace it with a Nickent 3dx dc hybrid. With the hybrid have a shorter shaft and losing distance I would say get the 18.5* because i have heard hybrids coming up 10 yards short and then the loss in .5 degrees will put me in perfect distance for the par 3. The other option is a 20 degree hybrid. So do you think my decision in the 18.5* degree hybrid is a good one?

Im not sure exactly how much distance you will lose but, you will/should be hitting more consitantly with it.

Best thing is to hit both and see what distances you get. I have a 16* hybrid (steel shaft) and a 15* 3 wood (graphite shaft). There is very little in distance, the hybrid goes lower than the 3 wood so gets more distance when into a headwind, but in a calm day the 3 wood will go 5-10 yds further.
