Am looking at picking up a pair of the Nike Shox golf shoes while they are a great deal. Am wondering what the sizing is like on these. I normally where a 10 regular in a sneaker, but sometimes a 9 1/2 in a dress shoe. I looked at my footjoys the other day and was surprised that they were a 9 1/2 wide.

Anyone experience with these and the best fit. They run big? Small? Somewhere in between?

well... for me my Nike tennis shoes and my FJ golf shoes are very similar. In the stores pretty much every pair of 13W Nikes and FJs fit me, so my experience has been they run roughly the same size. For the record, Nike and FJs tend to be larger than other size 13 shoes I have tried... Adidas, New Balance, Callaway, and Rebock all run a little smaller in size 13 and henceforth do not fit me, while Nike and FJ do fit.
My Clubs: Callaway FT-i Tour LCG 9.5° w/ Matrix Ozik Xcon 6 stiff; Sonartec GS Tour 14° w/ Graphite Design Red Ice 70 stiff; Adams Idea Pro 2h(18°) & 3h(20°) w/ Aldila VS Proto 80 stiff; Adams Idea Pro Forged 4-PW w/ TT Black Gold stiff; Cleveland CG12 DSG RTG 52°-10° & 58°-10°; Odyssey...

From my personal experience, I always believed Nike ran a half size smaller than normal. Go try them on?

In my experience, the Nike athletic style golf shoes fit just like a regular Nike athletic shoe. The dress style shoes and Tigers are a little different. If you know your size for a regular Nike shoe, it should be the same for these SHOX.

I wear a Nike size 11 in running shoes and my athletic style golf shoes from Nike are also an 11. However, my dress shoes for work are either a 10 - 10.5 and the couple Footjoys that I have are a 10 wide.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

Appreciate all the feedback. I have been having trouble finding them in store, but will try and find the shox in a standard shoe and match that size.

I have a pair of Nike shox and the good and bad about the shoes are the following:

good
I shot my best round when I first played in them, 3 under.

bad
1) size is a bid on the small size so I have to wear thin socks
2) The shoes are not water proof and leak
3) very little lateral support for golfing

If you were to ask me if I would buy another pair, my answer is no. go out a buy a more traditional shoe with better lateral support for your golf swing and use the superfeet insert for more comfort.

My best advice to you is to try them on.

One thing I experienced recently when I was shopping for a golf shoe is that u can't just assume that all brands would have the same feel for the same size.

I wear a 10W shoes and on Nike's my feet can still fit okay on a 10M shoes but not on 10M FJ and Adidas. I can't even get my foot all the way into the shoe.

Going to hit the local golfers warehouse this morning and hopefully they have both of the shoes I am considering. And hopefully I can find a pair on closeout still.
