Ok, there was this 18* hybrid at GG used (looked new to me) for around $50 and i have a 15* and 22*. Do you think that that is too big of a gap in there??? I mean the price is right, and it is a great club, which i have hit and loved!!! Do you think that the gap is too big, and that i should get to fill it?

Not at all, your 4 Hybrid acts as a 3 iron pretty much, so this will work pretty well as a 2 iron/5 wood replacement.

Personally i would go for it, i play much the same, only i have the 3 iron, and my 2 H is 17, but my gaps are pretty nice, so i think yours would be too...

You tell me. Tell us how far you hit the 15* and 22*. It seems like a pretty big gap to me, but if you could tell us how far you hit the clubs, we could help you to make a better decision.

If it's a good club and the right price, you might as well buy it. It looks like you only have 13 clubs anyway, so why not take advantage of the 14 club rule. I think it could be a wise purchase.

maybe, i dont really know. I only have like $170 of spending money right now, so i dont know if this shoud be my top priority. I am also picking up a new putter, so i will have to fit both in there.

sounds like a pretty big gap to me... yardage not loft is what is key, but it should slide into that gap.

As you may see from my sig... I would back that club 100% as I play it. I personally hit mine about 215-220 as my 15* 3w is 235ish and my 20* 3h is 205ish.

ok, i decided not to get it and just put my old 19* 5 woood in there. It is an adams, and i've always done well with it (i guess i should put it back in my sig now.) Also, i've decided to use the $170 of my spending money (yea, im a kid, i have a budget) and get that putter that i want!. Probably a never compromise, but maybe a cleveland milled. I'll just wait and see.

well, i figured i would save money and jus stick with my old 5 wood, which i hit fine. It is a 19* loft, so it fits the gap perfectly. I might just use the money i have left to get that new putter i wanted!

      I caught a video on this driver; the face tech seems crazy. Looking at the heat map for ball speed, hitting it basically anywhere on the face only loses a few percent ball speed. The surprising and counter intuitive part to me was that for flat faced clubs, ball speed loss is directly proportional to distance loss. For clubs with bulge and roll this is apparently not true. The surprising part of that story being that the max distance potential looks to be a tiny pee sized area for this driver, and I feel in general for drivers. The counter intuitive part being (the myth?) that blade irons have a pee sized sweet spot and missing that tiny spot causes dramatic losses. And that modern drivers, maybe 2017 on, have massive sweet spots and are ultra forgiving. Where in reality, if this heat map data is valid and reliable, it might be a bit of the opposite. This insane tech driver appears to have a pea sized "sweet spot" while Mizuno Pro 241 irons are 28% more forgiving compared to the average of all clubs measured. Not compared to other players irons, compared to all clubs from all categories, players to SGI! The Pro 241 being essentially just a solid chunk of metal with no "tech" at all. Which for me devolves into a whole mess of what is forgiveness really? And in measurable and quantifiable results how many yards, or feet, does that translate into?
