they have had hybrids for quite some time. I have heard goo things about them.

In my freestyle:
Driver: 10.5* G5 with UST V2
F.W. wood: 16* retro raylor with Aldila HM-40 Tour Gold
Irons: i5 3-pw. Stiff cs lite shafts

I've seen good reviews on this. The 2H is actually supposed to replace the 2-iron, not be 15+ yards deeper like most 2H's.

I'm still skeptical when it comes to hybrids, be it golf or cars or whatever, even when it comes from Scratch. Long live long irons!!!

      I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.

      This year the 2 person scramble at Garland was flighted after 36 holes.  The final 18 holes determined the winner.  This was more fair since most people really wouldn't know what flight they would be in.
