I currently have a odyssey dual force 2 #1 putter that has a crank neck offset. I did me well but know me and it don't get along at all. I cut across the ball whole bunch and nothing seems to fix it. I have alwasy liked the feel of the center shafted putter. I am a big straight back and straight through stroke, will the center shaft help? Also if i would look into getting one of these putters how much would you think i could get for an odyssey dual force 2? It is is in great condition. I payed 90 for it so i was thinking 60 or 70?

If you have a straight back straight through stroke, you would want a face-ballanced putter. I may have it mixed up, but I seem to remember this. I'm not sure what a center shafted putter would be. You'd have to find out from the manuf.

Check pga.com, click equipment and find the value through there. Also check eBay for how much they are selling for.

At the end of the day, it's really whatever works for you. Try out a bunch of putters (and styles) and buy what works best. For what it's worth, I used to own an Odyssey center shafted putter and found it really inconsistent. I was told center shafted putters are generally more difficult to be consistent with.

Yeah, a center shafted putter is face-balanced and I think I read somewhere that the center shaft helps a straight-back straight-through stroke. Give it a try first before you buy it. I know that toe-hang putters have different amounts of toe-flow, and that's caused by shaft orientation. I guess this means shaft orientation also affects how a face-balanced putter strokes.
