For my birthday I got a 909D2 and a pool cue. As for you lessons would be good if your satified with the clubs you have.

Lessons would get my vote.

Lessons is probably the better present. Getting fitted might lead to you discovering that you are playing the incorrect clubs, which will either result in you buying all new stuff or at least wanting it (and blaming your current equipment for the less than satisfactory state of your game) . Getting fitted is a great thing to do when you go to buy new equipment, but, in most cases, it doesn't do a lot of good to get fitted if you're not purchasing new equipment. If you start with lessons, then next time you decide to purchase new equipment you should get fitted. Since you've taken lessons (and hopefully grooved a good consistent swing) your fitting will truly help you get the correct equipment for your game.
