I live in San Francisco and am thinking about starting to do my own clubmaking and tinkering with old clubs. Does anybody know where I could learn? I would like it to be a hobby first that could turn into a side business down the line. Any thoughts appreciated.

Dox-

To learn as a hobby, In my opinion, the best thing (if possible) is as to learn from a local club fitter......offer to do free assistance in exchange for his education...... If you want to move on and leran as a profession, I would recommend Maltby Academy ( http://www.golfworks.com/article.asp_Q_ai_E_494 ). Good luck!
