I take good care of my golf equipment in hopes that when I decide to replace it or get new stuff I can get the most for it. That said, I usually don't hang on to too much stuff not in use. And when I do decide to sell something, it goes to Ebay or classified ads at work. Only thing I don't like about Ebay is between them and Paypal can sometimes take a good chunk of change for the fees.

I'm a bit of a hoarder, though not majorly. I have a spare sets of mens clubs and my wife has a spare half set of ladies. I think it's good to have in case we have visitors who want to play and don't want to bring their gear with them. My parents are coming to visit in a couple of months and will be able to play without having to drag their clubs 6,00 miles!! Ultimately I see the spares as being our children's first proper clubs when they're old enough.

Other than these clubs I have a couple of odd clubs like a 2-hybrid I don't use anymore but don't want to sell as I know I wont get much cash for them in return.

I sell some clubs that I have no use for. I'm hopefully going to sell my old TM hybrid to a friend for about $40 or $50. It's useless. My 4i degree is 23*, and the hybrid was 22*. And it had a regular shaft on it because that's what I needed when I first got it, so now I can't hit it.

    • Ah.. my regular weekend league. Lol Scrambles are fine. Usually there's charity involved. So there's that. There are much worse events Im forced to attend twice a year.
    • Does Justin Thomas have a massively underrated short game? It seems every time I look up he's hitting it close from a tough lie after short siding himself. What masterful touch
    • I freaking hate them. Too expensive, cheaters, food sucks, too dependent on weather, I keep telling myself never do it again but I'm a dummy
    • I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.
