getting a 909h with either a vs proto or an nv. i have the nv in my other hybrid and love it, but i have never tried the vs proto so i just want opinions. thanks

I have a proto in my Cobra driver and before that I had a nv in my R7. The proto is a much better shaft but plays a little stiffer than the nv. The trajectory for the proto is higher but not a "ballooning" high. The proto would win hands down for me.

I have never played the NV but I do have a Proto in my drivers and love the flight of the ball. I hit the ball high and never use to get any roll. Since I switched I find that I actually get some roll on the soft fairways we have here.

      Ah.. my regular weekend league. Lol Scrambles are fine. Usually there's charity involved. So there's that. There are much worse events Im forced to attend twice a year.

      I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.
