Got a set of Nike Slingshot 4d's, instantly fell in love, im want to say that my skills have dramatically increased, but realistically i am sure it was the big step up from a low 2nd tier set of irons to the nike's. Either way im pumped though.

It's down to the player when skills are dramatically increased, equipment when skills seem to decrease!
Good luck with the irons, the slingshots' looks have grown on me recently.

How true it is!

Good job though to the OP with the new irons. I've never hit them, but getting new clubs and playing well is a great feeling.

      Ah.. my regular weekend league. Lol Scrambles are fine. Usually there's charity involved. So there's that. There are much worse events Im forced to attend twice a year.

      I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.
