I've seen a couple of these wedges for sale on ebay (54,58) and they are the perfect for me in terms of length and lie. Has anyone played them, what do you think? I'm going to demo one tomorrow at my club and if I like them, I may well purchase them.

A mate of mine has them and I didn't really like them. I rather the look of vokey's than the x forged. In terms of spin, probably similiar to the vokey's but they just looked weird to me. But if you like them go ahead, after all it is you swinging the club.

I love the looks of them.

I've taken a gander at them recently while in the golf stores looking at new wedges.

So I play vokeys now and I do like them for partial and feel shots. I do struggle a little for consistency on fuller shots as they're standard length, so they're 1/2 inch shorter than the rest of my irons and I tend to hit them a little thin on the course. I've been toying with the idea of getting wedges that fit, and also switching from a 56/60 to a 54/58 setup, this would kill two brids with one stone. As I said I'll grab a demo at my course this evening and see how I like before buying.

I don't play the chrome I am play the raw material version and I love them. I don't like heavy wedges, and I find these a bit on the lighter side. I have a buddy who was playing with Vokey's and just this winter purchased the X-tour wedges because he preferred the look to them over the vokeys. In terms of performance, I find them the same as other name brand wedges. As for looks that's something you are going to have to determine yourself.
