Opinions on ORIGINAL Launcher 460

I'm looking for input on the original Cleveland Launcher 460 driver. This one has the grey head and gold shaft (in stock shaft) - circa 2005 I believe. I'm not talking about the 460 Comp, 460ti (the blue head with silver shaft) or the new Launcher. I just happened to pick one up and waggle it a little at the store today. I bet I could get a great deal on it as it was in the corner with the "nobody is buying it" stuff. You all know that corner.

I liked the way it felt and looked. I realize I would be going retro by bagging this driver, but I'm going to at least give it a try in a couple days when the weather allows. In the meantime, I was wondering if there is any input on this club, good or bad? I've gotten good advice on here in the past. On here I know nobody holds back. I like the honesty that you don't always get in magazine reviews (another thread I know).

I have never hit it but i know someone who plays it and it doesnt seem that he has any problems.

Definetly a GI driver. wants balls to go straight, alot more pushes and pulls rather than hooks or slices.. so if your looking for something to put you in the fairway, maybe not with bombs, but in the fairway, this is an excellent choice.

      Ah.. my regular weekend league. Lol Scrambles are fine. Usually there's charity involved. So there's that. There are much worse events Im forced to attend twice a year.

      I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.
