It's funny, there is even more I would have done to it looking at the Custom Shop page, but I'm not paying $30 for somebody to take 5 seconds to line up a shamrock stamp and bang it on the club. Seriously - $30!?

I agree, totally worth it. Come on, $30 comes and goes as quickly as a sneeze. Seriously.

Plus, if you haven't seen the thread on stolen GPS and other goodies in the other area, check it out. Might be nice to say your SC had your initials and a shamrock stamped into it. Would make it difficult for the thief to truly enjoy it.

Then keep it to yourself or share your thoughts in the many, many threads about this topic.

I just did. The OP asked for thoughts and I shared mine. If you don't like it, then don't read it.

I just purchased my SC STUDIO SELECT NEWPORT 2 on Ebay for $245.. i was please with the price.. Club is immaculate, best feeling putter I have ever felt. Face is so soft, ball feels so pure off of it..

Im sending mine off also to the shop for initialing, and a couple clover stamps, just to personalize and make it my own..

There are alot of 2-300 expenses that could be considered a waste, a SCOTTY CAMERON ISN'T ONE OF THEM..

I just got a Futura on E-bay for $65, shipped. I had to order a new HC from Cameron for $35. I'm not sure that I'll like the Futura as much as my Studio 3.5 but I guess time will tell and I can always go back.

    • Ah.. my regular weekend league. Lol Scrambles are fine. Usually there's charity involved. So there's that. There are much worse events Im forced to attend twice a year.
    • Does Justin Thomas have a massively underrated short game? It seems every time I look up he's hitting it close from a tough lie after short siding himself. What masterful touch
    • I freaking hate them. Too expensive, cheaters, food sucks, too dependent on weather, I keep telling myself never do it again but I'm a dummy
    • I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.
