Courses on 19 S through WV and 77 South

Hello,

Looking for courses to play on the way down to Augusta in a couple of weeks.

Anyone have suggestions for nice, reasonable, public courses close to route 19 south down through West Virginia and also on Interstate 77 South from West Viginia down to Columbia, SC??

We're obviously looking for courses that are close to the highway. There are a million I've looked at but would love some recommendations. Thanks!

Glade Springs would be the perfect choice (and I'm sure you've already come across it in your research). It's not far off the roads your talking about and has 2 very nice courses - Stonehaven and Cobb courses. Both are very nice, with Stonehaven being the newer course with a newer design. If you like traditional courses, the Cobb course might be more up your alley. They are a bit pricey (around $100 each in peak I know), but I was really impressed with them.
