I'm in school, going for a Construction Engineering degree. I'd like to start interning with a course builder and make that my line of work. I've done some looking, but am having a hard time finding some midwest based builders. Any info on who is out there or experiences with this would help a lot. Thanks

Is that a really busy field? Just curious. The reason I say that is because I don't really see many golf courses being built any more.

I think that there is pretty steady work between new courses and rennovation/redesign.

Here's one to look at:

Phelps Golf Design . They are headquartered here in Evergreen, Colorado. If that isn't close enough, then I haven't any better ideas.

If I can land something far out, or on the coasts I would definately think about going, but I'd like to stay in the midwest once I'm out of school so if I could get something with a decent company in this region I would be happy.
