I thought this was pretty intriguing when I saw it on the taylormade website and was wondering: besides of the cost of the driver itself, does it costs any extra money to get fit through select fit? Like would a $400 driver cost $400 to me or do I have to add any additional charges?

Just go through the process and you'll see. It's no more than MSRP. Taylormade tour preferred 3-pw off the rack are $900.

Custom speced on smartfit at $900. The only difference is on some options ..... 20 more per club with project x for example. Assortment of free grip choices from gp, lamkin, winn... but also plenty to pay for like the popular multicompounds and such.

But if a club is on sale off the rack... smart fit will still charge msrp.

      Ah.. my regular weekend league. Lol Scrambles are fine. Usually there's charity involved. So there's that. There are much worse events Im forced to attend twice a year.

      I enjoyed the A-B-C-D scramble we did at Kittyhawk before it shut down. Yes. The point was to meet the other members and get the season kicked off. Nobody took it too seriously. At least with that group, cheating wasn't a big issue.  As the D part of A-B-C-D, I enjoyed getting to play with one of the Association's top players. One year I played with the city champ. Man could he hit a ball.  It probably isn't something I'd want to do more than once a year, but it has its place.
