Does anyone use a bowflex to increase flexibility and shoulder turn? If so, what specifically do you do?

Why use an expensive piece of equipment? Start doing yoga. Trust me.

Because I already have one...

I have the Extreme 2. I use it religiously and it is great for Core and flexibility exercises. I take a normal stance and use the upper left cable to pull from the backswing "L" down and through impact. 3 sets of 20. Improves swing groove and power. Also strengthens and protects your back and hips from injury.

I believe a good core exercise is called the twister. It is an oblique rotation exercise that can build strength. But remember if you the clubhead to move faster you will need to swing it faster (ie. practice swinging faster).

The swing is such a quick action that the body has little time to build up clubhead speed. Therefore, Plyometrics was invented for sports. Look into it and I am sure you will find something that will help. I can explain more if needed.

    • I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. Than i got myself a new putter Odyssey S2S jailbird yes i joined the centershaft family
    • First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
