I have an extremely high ballflight. I love it for my irons and fairway woods but am having trouble lately with my driver trajectory. Does anyone have any suggestions of a VERY LOW trajectory Driver/Shaft combination?

I'd give some thought to a Titleist 909 D3 with a Proforce V2 shaft of some sort. Just my two cents...

I was thinking of that driver. It is the lowest launch titleist offers. They also have the Diamana White board, and Fuji Rombax 7z08

Another driver i was looking at is the G10 7.5 with the pro launch Red.

I'd look to get a driver fitting. It's usually pretty cheap relative to the cost of a new driver, and sometimes they will apply the fitting $ towards the club. It would probably be good to set a budget for yourself before going in.

adams 9016d with a white board is about as low launching as it gets you can look on golf wrx for more info or try almost anything with a matrix tphd7 and you will bring your ball flight down a lot again for info check golf wrx it is the shaft camilo is using right now in a cobra speed pro s 10.5 he uses and x flex if you tried this combo i think it will keep your flight down as i think we can both agree camilo is a beast. now all of this is if you mean very low if you just want something that won't ballon try a 7.5 ping rapture v2 with a whiteboard or a cheaper proforce v2 if your not into excotic shafts you can also try a and adams 9015d with a whiteboard hope this helps and if your really in need of the lowest launching driver try the cobra speed pro s with a tphd 7 in x flex maybe 9.5 8.5 loft

Cobra website says the Speed Pro S is the HIGHER launching of the 2 speed pros if you are talking about the S9-1 model. The matrix TP7 is out of my price range and out of my realistic idea that a shaft could be worth that much money. Thanks for the good info on the adams though thats not the first time someone has suggested that head.

Agree the 909 D3 is a good choice for lower ball flight, and the Aldila shaft that produces a low to mid flight is the VS-proto. I like both of these choices for a lower flight.

I've had the VS Proto before and really didnt like it. I had it in an FT3 i used to have. I preferred the Pro Launch Red, and the Diamana. I am definately going to hit the 909 D3 you guys have made that a MUST hit on my list.

I hit both the D3 and D2 at a demo day. I'd be VERY surprised if you didn't like the feel of these heads with appropriate shafts for your swing. I can't wait to get fit for mine. Being in the northeast, there is still some weather to get through before I can get a proper fitting outside

I tried out the Ft-iQ on a launch monitor, and it had a pretty low launch angle, and that was with 10 deg of loft, and i was hitting an 8.5 before that and the 10 in the FT-iQ was lower than the 8.5 in my titleist.

Dunno about heads but you might take a look at the Throttle and new YSQst shafts from Graphite Design. Both are supposed to be low launch and the Throttle is supposed to be for quick swingers....

I'm curious about the YSQst myself as the YS+ and original YSQ are some of the best feeling shafts I've hit.
