Are we seriously only getting 3 hours on ESPN for both Friday and Saturday?? The coverage starts at 4 Eastern, that two hours AFTER the last group tee off!!

Am I missing something? Where will I be able to see all of it?

I have DISH network. Is there anything special on one of the other providers like DirecTV?

Other then that i dont know and by thy way espn is doing thursday and friday saterday is on cbs, but i dought thy will be any better with the amount of time there going to be showing golf. In the mean time go to espn classic and watch all the old once.

Apparently you are missing actually reading the TV schedule, which isn't hard to find. ESPN is not covering the Masters on Saturday, try CBS, which has covered the weekend forever. ESPN is covering for 3 1/2 hours on Thursday and Friday.

CBS is scheduled for 3 1/2 hours on Saturday, it is not starting at 4 Eastern, but at 3:30 and that will likely run over, but that is not really much different than in years past. The Masters has always limited its live coverage, I think foolishly, but that's the way it is.

Sorry I meant Thursday and Friday wise-ass. When the British comes around, it's on TNT for 12 hours straight. This is just ridiculous.

I agree that the limited coverage is frustrating. I second the recommendation to watch online or the iphone app (which I used on my ipod touch not iphone). It is great to watch some of the Masters while at work. Lets hope my patients think I am looking up meds ;)

The only problem with that, is that you only get to watch a couple holes. I want to be able to follow the ebb and flow of the day.

Nothing you can do I guess, but in this day and age ESPN should get with the program, they could easily cover more of it on ESPN3 or ESPN4.

Apparently you are grumpy about not being able to watch more of the Masters, that is certainly understandable. However, you work on appropriate responses and I'll try and work on my mind reading skills.

Sounds like a plan. After thinking about it more, it's probably the organizers limiting the coverage....money rules everything.

Direct TV has some interactive stuff. One channel with have a mix where you can watch 6 holes at once. Click on one of those and you go to coverage for that hole. Not sure the times that it will be available though.

By the way, you are correct about the start time for ESPN of 4:00 Eastern, heard that today on Mike and Mike, so went back to the Masters official website.

I got the 3:30 start time from the Masters website yesterday, so even though it was easy to find, they had it wrong, although the good news is ESPN does have it scheduled for 3 1/2 hours, at least it's an extra 1/2 hour, but starting at 4:00 p.m., and I see that the Masters shows it on the website today as starting at 4:00 p.m., so sorry if caused any confusion on that. I do feel your pain. I've got Dish also, and although I don't think Direct TV shows live coverage outside of the time frames anyone else shows it, it does have additional coverage of certain holes at the same time, if that makes sense. I love satellite, but if I had known last year when I got Dish, Direct TV was going to have the Masters package, I would have gone that route. Too late now.

That sucks. It's really a shame, I have it running off to the side, so far it's pretty good coverage. Is just the video blocked, or the entire site?

    • Day 11, 1/11/26.  Today was putting, along about 6' of carpet, with coins on the ground to keep me cognizant of what I'm doing.  I think this is the at-home drill from LSW. (Ugh, missed two of the last four days -- 1/10 and 1/8)
    • Day 9: 2026.01.11 Hit some balls at the range, concentrating on weight distribution at address, got some on film.
    • Day 468 - 2026-01-11 Loooooong day. Did some work in the patio door (as a mirror) when I got home.
    • I caught a video on this driver; the face tech seems crazy. Looking at the heat map for ball speed, hitting it basically anywhere on the face only loses a few percent ball speed. The surprising and counter intuitive part to me was that for flat faced clubs, ball speed loss is directly proportional to distance loss. For clubs with bulge and roll this is apparently not true. The surprising part of that story being that the max distance potential looks to be a tiny pee sized area for this driver, and I feel in general for drivers. The counter intuitive part being (the myth?) that blade irons have a pee sized sweet spot and missing that tiny spot causes dramatic losses. And that modern drivers, maybe 2017 on, have massive sweet spots and are ultra forgiving. Where in reality, if this heat map data is valid and reliable, it might be a bit of the opposite. This insane tech driver appears to have a pea sized "sweet spot" while Mizuno Pro 241 irons are 28% more forgiving compared to the average of all clubs measured. Not compared to other players irons, compared to all clubs from all categories, players to SGI! The Pro 241 being essentially just a solid chunk of metal with no "tech" at all. Which for me devolves into a whole mess of what is forgiveness really? And in measurable and quantifiable results how many yards, or feet, does that translate into?
