I just saw that, said day in Phillies history, but at least he got to see the World Series Championship last year. His world was complete.

As a Cardinals fan, I feel for you Philly fans. We lost Jack Buck a few years ago and it just isn't the same anymore. It is tough to follow a team and grow up listening to a guy and then the next time you turn on the radio it is someone else.

This was a little more sudden and surprising. With Jack we knew his health was going down, but to be in the press box is kind of sudden. At least he went doing what he loved.

I always liked Harry Kalas. I loved the stuff he did for NFL films and the national broadcasts he would do for the NFL and MLB. He just had one of those voices that was instantly recognizable.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.
