I was wondering if anyone has ever thought of spraying Testors Dull Cote on their PW, SW, or any other wedge for that matter? It hit me today... Dull Cote leaves a rough finish wherever you spray it. That has to cause the ball to bite and spin back. Yes I know it is illegal but sounds pretty fun at the same time.

I'm not sure but I'm gonna try it. That spray is used in magic tricks to rough the cards and make them grip each other... so who knows.

This is the exact opposite of your original post, but I heard that wiping a thin layer of vasoline on your driver club-face takes away all spin. It makes it really hard to hook or slice it. Yes, it's very illegal, but I have heard stories of high stakes gamblers doing this to gain an edge when hustling.
