I have these irons and I love em. They are forged, and stamped TOUR, so you can brag that you have a pro set. Some of the pros on LPGA use these.

They are workable, left and right. I'm adding the rockport stinger to my shots this year,. and have used the 6i successfully

One thing I would change is the standard shaft is s300 (stiff). Depending on your swing speed, you might want to go regular flex here. I will change my shafts come fall since my swing speed has dropped.

Cheers,

Yeah, a lot of pressure. Rise above it. Harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness energy, block bad.

Outside of maybe the Mizuno MP-52s and 57s, probably the most forgiving forged player's iron on the market. Plus they will cost less than both. They are just all-around good clubs.

My buddy has them...i'm envious...love the lack of offset and they hit pure, but then again, that is their motto right?

I assume you are talking about the original x-tours and not the 20's or the 22's. I have gamed a set of the original x-tours for the last two seasons, and I love them. They have great feel on solid hits and you don't get as harsh as a sting from misses as a true blade iron. I have been playing golf for 12 seasons, and I have played my best golf with these. I would recommend these to anyone.

If you are looking to purchase a set, take a look at Callaway Pre-owned. I purchased my set through there and they looked like they had never been hit. AND they were cheap.

Feel free to PM me if you have and specific questions.
