Okay, so I have been looking at grips but I really haven't found anything. I'm looking for a soft grip that's not too exspensive. Any one know a good grip like this?

What's In My Bag?

Ft-i Imix Fubuki 60g Stiff
R9 3 Wood
Burner 19 Hybrid Ap1 4-Pw 50 Mb Spin Milled 56 Spin Milled 60 RTG Chrome Studio Select Newport 2 Pro v1x

Golf Pride Tour Velvet.....simply an awesome grip.

Check the prices on ebay.....you can do it yourself for huge savings.

For the money, there isn't a better grip made!!!!!!!!!!
909D Comp 9.5* (house MATRIX OZIK XCON-6)
Burner Superfast 3 & 5 woods (house MATRIX OZIK XCON-4.8)
G15 Hybrid 23* (AWT shaft)

Ditto on the Golf Pride Tour Velvet. I just got mine done with these grips. The tackiness on them is pretty good.... and they aren't hard but not super soft. A nice inbetween feel. I have gone out and shot a 43 and a 40 the first two rounds i played with them. With my old grips i was shooting 45's and above.

I just had my clubs regripped with the Lamkin Crossline Midsize. The large majority of people think they look like an optical illusion (and I agree), but the size is perfect and they have just enough "tack". I'm a fan, I never realized how the correct size grip could breath new life into my Ping G2's.

I'll cast a vote for the Lamkin Torsion Control. Awesome tackiness and feel. The only issue I found is they wear faster because they are soft.

I got the same exact grips, in red. I LOVE them. I recommend them to everyone.

Thanks guys. I looked this weekend and have narrowed my search to the Lamkin Crossline and Golf Pride Decade Multi Comp.

Take two of your most consistent clubs and have them re-gripped with both candidates. This is what I did, and I'm 100% positive I made the right decision. It cost about $10 extra, but it's well worth it.

If price is a concern, go with the Crosslines. I really like the Multicompounds though, totally different grip from the Crosslines.

Thanks for all these posts because I am also looking for a soft grip and needed recommendations.

Stupid question but what is the difference between "shock absorption" and "greater shot feedback" I am assuming if it is a 1 on that scale then you don't feel as much shock but what is "greater shot feedback" exactly? Thanks

Had to chime in and confess. I went from Winn's 5WDG on my irons to Golf Pride M/C and glad I made the change. Two totally different feels/types of grips.

Really like the Golf Pride joints. Can't wait for the grips on my woods and hybrids to wear out.

Is there an DIY article on how to re-grip your clubs?

Thanks guys. I looked this weekend and have narrowed my search to the Lamkin Crossline and Golf Pride Decade Multi Comp.

FWIW, I had the midsize New Decade Multi Compound installed on one of my irons today. After feeling it, it's a hard decision between it and one of the Winns that I'm trying out, but I'll probably end up with them on all of my irons before the weekend gets here. The Winn felt softer, but I'm concerned with the premature wear on them. Though it was softer, I liked the overall feel of the ND Multi Compound just slightly better.

I will say this though - I dont think I'd be going wrong with either one, and I'm definitely not knocking the Winn at all. To me, it has definitely been worth it to try a few different grips on a few different clubs. I'd recommend doing that to anyone, there's no reason you have to get them all done at once if you're still trying to make a decision. It may cost you a few extra $ (as in less than $20) in the long run, but to me, it was well worth it. Let us know what you decide, and what your experience is like with the new grips! I'd definitely like to hear what you decide and how you like it.

do not go with Winn on irons. Winn grips are made for one thing and one thing only. A putter. Dont believe anything butch harmon says. Winn grips on irons are garbage and definitely not worth the money.

I have to agree with JGulk on this one. I love the way Winn grips feel but they get trashed on irons and even on my putters they get pretty beat up. You might say they get abused in my golf bag but I have full length dividers on my Nike Sasquatch Tour bag.

I put Iomic grips on everything and haven't been dissapointed since!
