So today I was at the course, I get one single ball and grab out that 8 iron. I tee with it, and use it for every single shot for the next 3 holes, and guess what, I am hitting it perfectly straight, the whole feeling of it looking strange is not even there anymore.

Actually I do not think I've hit my 8 iron that consistantly before; clean full shots that passed the 130 yards each time.

I won't replace it until it cracks by itself. Till then, I will be using it. I will be aware nobody is around me or close to the club's plane during the swing whenever I play it, just in case it decides to crack and the head flies away.

You know, if the shaft is still actually bent, it's not a legal club to begin with, and you're not doing yourself any favors (developmentally) by playing with it, either.

To offer another point of view beyond safety concerns...
