So I am very much considering buying this bag : http://cgi.ebay.com/Nike-Golf-Xtreme...3%3A1|294%3A50
and was wondering if any of you have it or have tried it out? If so what are your opinions on it? I think it looks awesome, but I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" and $99 seems a little cheap to me.

Looks a good bag. I currently have a super series nike stand bag, its 7 years old and is still in great condition. You shouldn't have any durability issues with a nike bag. I have my eye on the sasquatch tour stand bag, it looks very similar to this one but has a 14 way full length divider system.

I have the Nike Xtreme Sport Bag and it has lasted the past 3 years and performed flawlessly. It carries well and even travels very nicely on my Clicgear 2.0 pushcart. I imagine the 2nd version would be just as nice with nice upgrades.

Anyone with any opinions on this particular bag? I've been looking at bags recently...probably going to go to Golfsmith later tonight and check it out...Does it have 4 or 8 or however many full length dividers?

get an OGIO or Mizuno bag.

I bought the nike bag, but im thinkin about taking it back to dicks. I found a new ogio grom bag on ebay for the same price so I'm probably gonna buy that.

Could you be a little more specific as to what the problems were (something with the legs, ect.)? Not doubting it's just other users above have stated Nike bags have worked out well for them over a couple of years...I have been looking at a few Mizuno bags though...I love the look/design of the Aerolite III from stock pictures (the White/Black with Red lining just looks sweet), it's light and seems pretty functional (7-way divider) but it's not in any golf stores around me...and I'm not sure if they are full length dividers (or if it matters with their Kabuki system).

My nike extreme sport bag has a huge flaw. A rod that connects the top of the bag to the bottom was made too long?? So the rod broke the plastic on the bottom and theres a huge slice of plastic coming off the bottom barely holding the rod in place. The bag still works but it looks horrible. Other than that i liked it. The straps are really easy on the shoulders, i like where all the pockets are, pretty light, nice plush pocket for valuables.

I've only had my nike bag for about 2 weeks but so far i really like it.
The bag overall is really light, the shoulder straps are great and the pockets were really well thought out in their placement.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
    • I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
