USA is in the World Cup?

Yeah, they are ranked fifth in the world for some reason. You couldn't have told that by watching their game against the Czech Republic yesterday. We were destroyed quite easily 3-0.

Now we have to beat Italy and Ghana to have a chance to move on. That's not looking good either.

Thrash13: They are ranked 5th cuz they've been playin mediocre teams in the qualifying rounds. And 2002 was a fluke. They are NO match for european teams. Ghana, they might beat yeah, but Italy, no way jose!

I agree they dident play well. I do not know the answer to that question. I dont know if I translated it wrong but I did not mean it to sound like I knew a lot about the world cup. sry for the misunderstanding.

I hope he does too. I am mad at the fans for doing that to a great soccer player that he is.

Yes I know him. He is somewhat of a ledgend in Mexico for not only coaching the Mexican soccer Club de Futbol America but it is what he has done for the sport of soccer through the world. He is known very well in Mexico. Huphtur....... I hated playing the Johan guy. He was scary for the other team.

Wow the games today were great. I am dissapointed in the Mexico tie with Angola but I must give credit to the Angola team they came ready to play. Exciting day in soccer.
First lets start with the Dutch vs. Cote de ivore. This was a had fought game. I was very impressed with the Dutch. They had bad parts but a good overall performance. It was interesting when the Dutch took out Ruud van guy . The only way I can think of as to why they did that is for defence. At any rate it was a hard fought game. Credit for Cote de ivore for never giving up.

The Argentina vs. Serbia and Montengero can only be described as Domination. That was amazing.

I had the TiVo going on two channels yesterday: U.S. Open and USA versus Italy. What the hell were those refs smoking? I wonder if the U.S. would have pulled out an upset if they had even had ten men. They nearly did it with nine (then again, Italy had an OG too, derrrr).

      I tried hybrids way back when TaylorMade introduced the copper orange Firesole Rescue, the clubhead having been made of titanium which was still relatively new even in drivers back then. I couldn't hit it well at all, and while the success of hybrids suggests that the modern ones must be quite good,  I'm perfectly happy with the 5, 7, and 9-woods.  Early ones of mine were Top Flite Intimidator 400s made by Spalding... and also made of titanium, now that I think of it.  I still have them in my basement. I do bag a driving iron, but it's a one-trick-pony that never sees fairway use.

      The last time I played Maxfli balls, Dunlop was still making them. How long ago was that? Mostly, though, I used to play Top Flites (original 336 dimple model) when Spalding was still making them. Now I play the Pro V1x. Last time that I ordered some, Titleist was still making them. Let's see how long that lasts.
