My drunk ass got carried away one night and bought a Scotty Cameron Futura putter a couple years ago. Always wanted to try it out and thought why the hell not? I used it for about 2 rounds, hated it, and threw it back in the closet where it still sits today. Thanks Natty Lite

Put it back out on eBay, I do that all the time with golf equipment. I buy it, try it, if I don't like it, I resell it. I break even on my resell more times than not.

....and clubs are just not as cuddlie as a wife/gf....

When sleeping with your clubs, they are

almost as cold as the stair you will get from buying them in the first place...

I got my MP30s from lowball bidding on some irons. Won them, much preferred them to my Nike Ignites I had before. Wife couldnt complain as I ended up selling the Nikes for what I paid for the Mizunos.

I tried selling some equipment.....I sold my Wilson Driver that I paid $50 delivered (new), used it about 3 times before I got my Burner, sold it on e-Bay for $22 delivered, it cost me about $15 to ship. Now my Burner is back with TM (head came loose).

Moral of the story ... unless you can make a good deal of dough on your sell....keep it as a back up!

I am playing a round tomorrow with my 3w as my driver ... or a buddy's Nike Sqtch Senior flex....that should be interesting!
It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!

thats so true. used golf clubs lose soooo much of their resale value unless they are certain clubs/brands. i prefer to just keep my stuff now unless i know i can get a decent amount for it

I'm gonna need to see that blog.. lol

can't do it, I deleted it, but not after half the world and all my friends and her's read it. Yep, that stuff that came from an old radiator cost me plenty, including her. I thought Jim Beam was bad but when that doesn't work any more, don't get on the 'shine

Did play it last year for the first time and it is awesome.

    • Day 47: simulator day! Played St. Andrew’s and shot a +1. Not bad, especially with having to putt at this simulator set up. Had about 5 minutes at the end to work on some feels as well.
    • I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.
