Where do you cheap out

Clothes for me, ill go to cheaper stores.
I also do buy alot of clubs used.

I cheap out on greens fees/carts. I don't walk because it's fun or healthy. I walk because it's cheap. I go for twilight rates, military discounts, and coupons. Anything in the $10 to $18 range after said discounts is good, and over $20 to walk is unacceptable. I have a caveat that the course has to be good. A local club had a course where I can ride for $22 on a weekend, but the greens don't have any grass; unacceptable when the sweet course on the GD 100 Courses You Can Play list down the street is cheaper to walk.

Somtimes I treat myself to the $60+ round, but it has to be a special occasion with friends.

Next year perhaps I'll get a membership. I can make that into the ultimate cheapout if I play 200 times.


Oh yeah, and I've never payed retail for a club.

Balls. I have never bought a ball in my life. I shot my best round with a Pinnacle, so I trade all the balls I find for them.

Balls-There are so many good deals out there. In the last year, I purchased new balls from a store, once.

Golf shoes-Same deal. Purchased two new pairs of TW Nike shoes for $51 and $35. A flat out steal.

I used to cheap out on balls but then I realized what I was missing out on. :)
