Favorite Driver and Fairway Woods

I play a Ping g5 driver that I am looking to upgrade to the Callaway ft-9... I love my orlimar trimetals but feel I need to make a change there too... any feelings on the Callaway Hyper X woods (dicks has a sale that if you buy the ft-9 you get two Hyper X's for a dollar) Iam a huge fan of the ft-9 just unsure about the Hyper X's... I hit them and they really don't feel any different than my 2007 Tri-Metals (I hit them just about the same)...Please advise

How are the Ping G-10 irons and woods?

They're yours for $1. If you don't like them, you can always sell them and get something you like. Either way, you win.

a buddy of mine uses a hyper x 3 wood and kills the ball with it. sounds nice too (ive never hit it though)

but you said you love your tri metals so why not switch to the hyper x's?
they're only a dollar each and you could sell them back to another store if you don't like them and turn a profit

also, you might want to take them to a real range (instead of a simulator) or even play a round or two with them before you get rid of them. You might find your results are different out on the course.

I can't help but put a plug in here for Tour Edge Exotics woods. They're expensive though. I love the G5 driver. If you want to try something with a similar feel but newer, try the Cleveland Hibore XLS or XLS Monster. Completely different sound though.
