My friend's tee shot lands a few yards behind the 150 stake that is removable. He pulls the stake and puts in on the ground and proceeds to skull his next shot into the stake and the ball deflects into the water. He asks me if I know what the ruling is since he hit a movable obstruction (that he already moved mind you). I told him that other than being stupid for not moving the obstruction out of the way, I had no clue. Thoughts?

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner! He's hitting four following his drop from the water hazard.

I'll bet he moves those movable obstructions a little further out of the line of play next time!

Tell me this is not the same friend that was improving his lie in the bunker.

No. Different friend. This one plays by the rules most of the time, although he does plan on rolling his ball tonight in league if his opponent does. I prefer to loose by the rules instead of winning with a guilty conscience.

    • Posted a couple swings here. I think my attempt to blend the movement still results in a more “around” back swing?
    • I never heard dislike for them.  From my perspective, they are just like any other club. Though, they were always probably over-priced, until recently as other club manufacturers have been raising prices the past 5+ years. You had to wait for them to go on sale, which you can get them closer to other club manufacturers.  They sell good clubs. Nothing crazy..
    • Why do so many people dislike PXG clubs and constantly criticize them? All the folks at my club and especially online, I never hear good things about them except from people who bought them and defend them. They look fine to me but curious is there some sort of quality issue or is it just stereotyping the buyers.
    • I have the LM1 launch monitor and I’ve been very impressed. I agree with your assessment and it’s very accurate for me and ease of use is wonderful. The price point of $199 is very hard to beat with this form factor and performance. I was previously using a PRGR.
