The flat or bowed wrist is a great tip for you to do. If it is cupped like you say it is, then that means your club head is ahead of shaft at impact and that leads to very inconsistent, weak shots. When your left hand is flat or bowed, your right hand will have to be cupped. Right now your left hand is cupped so your right hand is flat. Do not let your right hand get underneath the shaft at impact. Try and keep it more towards the top as you swing through and slightly rotate your forearms through impact.

Swing path has nothing to do with slices/hooks. Swing path dictates the line that the ball will initially take when it leaves the clubface. The angle of the clubface at impact then determines whether the ball will hook, slice, or keep going on the line it started on.

The statement that 'Swing path dictates the line that the ball will initially take ' is often taught (or used to be, anyway) - but it is mostly incorrect. Somewhere around 80% of the initial ballflight direction is determined by the angle of the clubface. This applies to putts and full shots and can be important to a golfer (or instructor) in "debugging" a golf swing.

Of course slices and hooks are determined by spin, and spin is created by a difference between path and face angle at impact. dave

I got a tip yesterday that straightened me out some. if you are right handed let you left arm pull you through your swing you can't push a chain. relax your wrist and they will naturally roll the club head straight at impact.
