Gotten steep with my long irons

What are you swing thoughts with long vs short irons?? I naturally have a really flat swing which used to make my long irons really easy to hit. As I've worked on getting a little steeper with the short irons to get a little more acurate it's crept into my long irons and I've got a nasty hook from coming over top of the ball.

Any swing thoughts or tips or drills to differentiate the long irons vs short??
