Mine is I'm from New York.

5 months, no golf
No decent practice facilities
5-6-7 hour rounds
Pain in the a** to get out and play (one word - traffic)
Expensive

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Me too! Mind if I use it with my brother and pawn it off as my own? He has a much better since of humor than me, and I need all the help I can get.

Sure, go right ahead. Make sure when you say it you are absolutely dead serious. No smiling.

If it's your first time playing the course it's sometimes good to follow it up with a.... "I wouldn't play this course again if it was free." Or "Who the hell designed this cow pasture anyway?" (cow pasture comment is good for when it is a really nice course)

i usually blame myself for anything that goes wrong in a swing. ball was too far forward in my stance, i was standing a little too far away from the ball, i swung back on too flat of a plane, etc etc.

a lot of the time, though, i'll sum it up and just announce to my partners, "i'm making this way too bloody complicated. all i have to do is put this stupid ball in the hole. just hit the thing straight and put it in the hole. instead i'm making the game hard and hitting it left and right and short and long. just hit it straight and put it in the hole."
