How about a list of game improvement irons?

I was reading the R7 vs Nike thread and someone said that the Nike's would be a more of a game improvement iron while the R7 would be better in the long run...

My wife is looking for new irons, and she need all the improvemnt she can get from her clubs...

How about a list of irons that would really help a new player.....with the final criteria being that the irons give the most help now...

My girlfiend has a set of Adams A3OS that has helped her game alot. The other irons she hit well when we were shopping were the Ping Raptures and Taylormade RGB. She just started golfing and were hitting high and straight with these irons.

Cleveland Bloom set or the Cleveland Launcher irons set.

Adams OS series. I used to have one of the OS hybrids and I hated it because it was completely unworkable, which is what a beginner would want.

The A2 set I have is just about right for me, pretty forgiving but you can still hit a low hook or slice out of the trees if you need to.

I've noticed their prices have been going up as they've gotten more "famous" so I'd get an older used set or one on clearance (A2OS maybe)
