I cannot decide whether to laugh or cry at this thread. I think I will just play golf instead.

This thread has gotten rediculous but I have to give my .02.

1) People today are no better or worse than they were 50 years ago. I know many people, my wife included, think that people are worse. IMO that isn't true. There are good people and bad people. Just like it was.

2) What does this argument have to do with Global Warming. I do believe our climate is changing but it is NOT a result of man. Other planet's are getting warmer and it is a result of the sun and sun spots. Also, how do we know what the "ideal" tempeture would be. If man wasn't here there would be just as much Carbon in the atmosphere because of wild fires that were never stoped. Man just isn't that powerful. Nature is much more powerful than us. We should do everything to take care of our planet but cap and trade is nothing more than a tax masked as environmentalism. If we want to make a real difference in what we put in the air we should go Nuclear and that would cut out 40% CO2 and not hurt our economy/jobs/well being. We could then use our coal to fuel our cars and not be dependent on the middle east.

3) At 17 or 18 you really have alot to learn. I remember being that age, I was a retard. The older I get the more I realize how stupid I was. I am not saying you are not smart, just understand that you will look back at yourself and realize how stupid you were. I look back 2 years ago and think, "wow I am so different now and know so much more". You really haven't lived at 17.

4) I hope that if you disagree with me that you at least entertain the idea that you could be wrong.

America is the prosperious nation in the world and if things happen in the country that our current admin and congress want to happen, that might not be the case. Our economy is not healthy and that is my concern. I want a job, I want to be successful, I want my son to be successful, and I want my fellow Americans to live the American Dream.
