I think about 114-115. I used to have a chart. But really, it depends on more than just swing speed. Though SS is the biggest factor.

Im about 109-110 on a launch monitor after I slowed down my swing (gave me much better control and accuracy), and my carry is about 270 now. (it was less when I was swinging all out because my swng mechanics were horrible)

In the Ogio Kingpin bag:

Titleist 913 D2 9.5* w/ UST Mamiya ATTAS 3 80 w/ Harrison Shotmaker & Billy Bobs afternarket Hosel Adaptor (get this if you don't have it for your 913)
Wilson Staff Ci-11 4-GW (4I is out of the bag for a hybrid, PW and up were replaced by Edel Wedges)
TaylorMade RBZ 5 & 3 Fairway Woods

Cobra Baffler T-Rail 3 & 4 Hybrids

Edel Forged 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64* wedges (different wedges for different courses)

My swing speed is 112 average (fitted with Trackman) My carry was anywhere from 260 - 275 depending on how close to the sweet spot I made contact.

To carry the ball 290 you'd be looking at a minimum of 115, probably more like 120ish. Of course how well the shaft, loft, etc. are fit to your swing will make a difference too. You can swing 115 mph but if you're using the wrong shaft, you're not getting close to 290 carry.

107 mph swing with perfect (1.5 smash factor) contact, 16* launch angle, 160 mph ball speed, and 3000 rpm should get you around 288.6 yards of carry according to:

I've put my numbers into this distance optimization calculator and it's pretty close. My launch angles range from 10-11.5 and my swing speed is from 109-113 mph and my typical ball speed is around 155-165mph depending on smash factor and I carry anywhere from 245-265 yards.

If I could find a way to get my launch angle up, I could get more carry...but with my swing...easier said than done.

thanks ...i have been tested 115-120 anf can carry balls that distance, BUT i also top horribly. The shaft is an X and my old driver head was a 9.5 TM ,,it flew OFF!

I am replacing it with a 12 degree! I can never get the ball in the air even on the pure shots, it was always a boreing trajectory, so now if i deloft on the ball i may have 2.5 * of forgiveness,,We are also tipping the shaft end and adding 1/2" extension. Maltby drive head is the 12*.

Wednesday is the day of delivery.
