i found that my favorite greenspeed is around 10 1/2 on the stimp,i find i can be very aggresive and if i miss it only rolls out to about 2 feet at the most.i just like being on semi fast greens.

Ok, here's a question: how many guys here have their own personal stimpmeter? I do not.

i play a couple courses with posted speeds and i know which ones i like better.

Thing is, you have no way of verifying whether those green speeds are accurate.

The very fact that they post 'em probably tells you they're lying, even a little bit.

Yeah, I agree. I'd say the courses I play on are probably around 5 or 6...they are quite slow...but not knowing much about the "Stimp Meter" and not having one to actually see, I would really have no idea.

I played one course ever with one of those "Stimp Meters" (I'm not sure that's what this course called it) and it was reading a 6-7. They claimed they set their greens at 9, 10, or 11 for different types of tournaments.
