Over the last six years, who has been the more dominant athlete?

Roger has 15 titles, 5 runner ups and 1 semi's under his belt... not to mention all the other minor tournaments he has won.

Woods has six titles, four runner ups in majors....and a bunch of other wins in minor tournaments.

Is it for sure Tiger? Too close to call? Clearly Federer?

Not sure (though I wonder if it matters). Gotta say one thing, Federer and Roddick put on quite the show. That level of athleticism is not seen on a golf course.

I think Tiger and Rodger should play ...
A five set match in tennis and 36-holes in golf. Let's see who wins and crown that guy, "Best Ever!!"

HAHAHAHAHA
+1 on the Federer/Roddick match. What a show, what a performance by both. 14-15 in the fifth and Roddick is still serving 136 mph. Amazing.

I would include Lance Armstrong on the list.

It is amazing what the human body can do (and mine is not even remotely close to doing)
You watch Federer play for 3-4 hrs at that level and you say................not possible. But you then see Armstrong going an incline in the alps at 30-40mph for miles and you say.................impossible.

What Tiger does requires incredible skill and mental toughness with some physical toughness. The others must add amazing physical training(?), energy (?), strenght (?).

I always wondered where those skinny cyclists hide the energy to do what they do. I walk 18 holes and get tired!!

One thing I think that gets overlooked is that Woods has to beat the rest of the field after four days. Federer only has to beat one opponent at a time.

If they made a 64 men's PGA tournament bracket like the NCAA where each game was 1 round, you only have to beat 6 people. The other 57 are eliminated by people other than you.
