Golf insurance

Do many people bother with these policies? I have spent a lot of money over the past 12 months on my equipment so thought it might be a good idea to get it all covered.

Here in the states, its usually a rider onto homeowners insurance.

I am pretty sure that my homeowners covers them no matter what. They are just property like anything else.

My home and contents policy covers them as a specified item. So they're covered at home and in the car and wherever, the only thing not covered is if I break them while actually playing. So really they're just covered for fire and theft and that kind of thing but better than trying to find another three grand or so to replace it all. Especially with the crap Aussie dollar at the moment.

They may be covered by homeowner's ins but would you pay the deductible and rise in premiums to cover stolen clubs? I wouldn't. My deductible's a grand.
