I was messing around with my clubs, and for a while now, I really have felt strange about my driver, because the transition in the offset from irons to driver is MASSIVE. The driver is just crazily offset. And lately I think that's the downfall of my swing, because it's causing me to slice the ball unless I go really far back, in my weight.

If my driver is offset greatly, how would I have to swing in order to hit the ball straight? Do I need to put more power behind the ball, or a little farther forward? Or perhaps even put the ball in a different place in my stance? Right now it's around... I'd say about on my left toe.

Thanks!

What's your driver? Your irons?

I was using a Cobra F-Speed driver for a while. Fantastic driver, but very offset. When I started getting better at swinging a golf club, including the driver, I would hit pulls, slices, or my favorite, pull slices with it. I don't know offhand what the issue is with your driver, but when I switched to a neutral-face driver, my accuracy improved.
