A little off topic. My association, MGA, did a revision and my index comes back as NH. What does that mean?

agreed. additionally - hcp system doesn't work well in a matchplay scoring system, heavily disadvantaging lower handicap player. If your opponent gets a stroke a hole and makes 8 pars - he pretty much won 8 holes. He can go triple, quad on 4 - 5 holes to keep his handicap "legit", few bogeys - here it is - a 95. In the meantime somebody playing par golf, with couple of birdies and bogeys - loses the match 5&4.

I was going to make this point Rafi. Matchplay really helps out us high handicappers. Most of us in the twenties can play almost bogey golf with a few pars but its the big numbers that keep our scores up. I don't know how many times I have stood on the 9th tee with a 38 only to get a 10 (of coures i only post the 8!! equitable stroke control). Match play de-emphasizes the big numbers. You only loose one hole

Just curious, in ture match competition, you don't really post scores. Did you guys complete the holes even after they were won?
