I just purchased a 2007 used version of this driver to replace my HiBore. It hits the ball 15 - 20 yrds further with the stock shaft. Last year I replaced the gold stock shaft in the HiBore with a proLaunch Red shaft to get a lower flight and it gave me up to 20 yrds more distance.
I now find the Burner is too high and there could be even more distance to be had with a shaft change. What I wanted to know is should I remove the Red ProLaunch from of my HiBore and try it in the Burner?
SS is around 105mph

What degree loft and what flex is your Burner? Because I had a 10.5 regular and was hitting a bit too high and losing control, so I sold it and got a 9.5 degree with a stiff shaft and it is just right.
