Bitter/sweet best round of my life.

Well guys I finally shot par, I double bogied 1 hole everything else was pars or birdies. Needless to say I'm happy.

The bitter part,
My Grandparents are the people who gave me the game of golf at a young age. The game I love and admire. My Grandma was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 4 months ago, and she is on her death bed, any day now she will be gone. It's very sad that she will not be here any longer, or be conscious for me to tell her about my best score of my life, on a game that she gave me.

So She is at a hospice house right now, I needed a break. So I went golfing at the course where she took me golfing for the first time, and the course that I shot my best game.

I will miss her.

In a week you wouldn't have been able to share that story with her. I'm betting that being able to do so now will be something very special, for both of you.

Thanks for your comments, yeah golf seems pretty trivial to most people at this time. But I thought it was a good way to say good bye in my own way.

And yes I know the double bogie fudged my score, if I wouldnt have had that it would have been amazing.
