I got Mickelson's DVD a month or so ago and started working on his techniques. I've always been a decent but not great chipper.

Gotta say, now that I finally got the feel of it, hinge and hold has helped me a great deal. I love it. I feel so much better around the greens now than I ever have. Putting basically everything within 10 feet, and most are within 6 feet. Still need to fine tune obviously, but I think this will help my scrambling quite a bit.

ive always used this technique i attribute that to a very good shortgame.i am a big believer in it,btw where u play in texas

I usually either have to play Sammons in Temple (south of Waco) (crappy course) or Mill Creek in Salado (a little further south), which is a much nicer course.

Sometimes we play in Georgetown/Round Rock.
